Bågø Rundt 2020 Series
The last regatta in Assens Sailing club was this year a series of 2 regattas round the island of Bågø.
The first part was sailed on September, 26 and the second part on October 4.

SAILING in COVID-19
times
The 2020 sailing season will be different under the COVID-19 crisis.
Most regattas are cancelled and sailing in larger groups is not recommended.
Now that most marinas are re-opened, cruising is possible again.
The two X41 Ningxia & Shanxi are with that also ready for a new season:

... the former Volvo Ocean racer VO60 "OSPA" with skipper Timm Otto was beating it's own record from 2017 by more then 3 hours and finished the 270 sm in 24 hours, 54 minutes and 23 Seconds! Shanxi came over the finish line after 35hours, 25minutes and 41secs.
270sm Round Bornhold at 2019 Warnemünde Sailing Week
On July 7, 2019, the German team with skipper Hanno Ziehm sailed the 270sm Round Bornholm race with Shanxi as part of the Warnemünde Sailing Week.
The weather was perfect for a fast race - wind speeds of 30kn and instruments showing boat speeds on Shanxi up to 17.2kn...

Band Race 2019 Kieler Woche

X-Yachts Gold Cup 2019
2 Teams from Osaka in Japan came and raced on Shanxi in No. 98 in the Sports Class A and with Ningxia in No. 36 in the Family class B.
There have been published 3 news-letter and a rewatch entry from the Gold Cup and some professional pictures that have been taken on the race course.With strong winds and gust of up to 40 knots the first race day was challenging for all sailors - race experienced or not.

On June 18, 2019, we made Shanxi and Ningxia ready for ORC international regattas by getting them measured!
Both are now ready for the "real stuff" with race sails and both ORC Club and ORC international certificates in place.
